School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- open day and school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events

Spring Bush Dance 2025
Date: 19th September
Time: 6:00pm -8:00pm
The Burnside P&C present the Spring Bush Dance. Entry is free, bring the whole family for a fun night together!
Family Fun Night
Date: 14th November
Time: 5:00pm -8:00pm
o Our annual community event which is lots of fun for the whole family.
o Wristbands are now on sale. They are $40 including a free sausage sandwich.
o Wristbands will be sent home with the kids the day before FFN.
Presentation Night 2025
Date: 16th December
Time: 6:30pm
Our annual presentation night K-6 will be held at Horrocks Hall, The Kings School.
